ESSEC & MANNHEIM Alliance
Our Alliance is Lined-up to Advance and Promote European Business Education Throughout The World.

Germany and France have always been driving forces behind Europe's development. Companies take advantage of the two countries' diversity to form joint ventures with the capacity of developing into international conglomerates. Today, such firms represent the ideal of united European potential.

ESSEC and Mannheim Business Schools are leaders in their respective countries. Thus, by joining their forces their leadership is now European.

The foundation of this intense cooperation lies in concrete agreements on goals and responsabilities, specified in the letter of intend (LOI) and in the articles of the founded European Economic Interest Group (EEIG).

Candidates

A Variety of People from Different Countries and Different Educational Backgrounds
With between five and fifteen years of professional experience behind them, Executive MBA participants are executives who have reached positions of responsibility that make committing to a fulltime MBA impractical.

At this crossroad in their careers, they recognize the need for developing their managerial potential, stretching the current boundaries to functions lying beyond those with which they are familiar.

Participants come from a broad range of educational and professional backgrounds and will be assuming, or have already assumed, positions that have truly international dimensions.

The curriculum

The program is divided into 4 steps :

• The Fundamentals of Management
(Team Building, Organizational Behavior, Financial Accounting, Decision Analysis, Economic Analysis, Performance Management)
• Managing Functions
(Corporate Finance, Information Management , Human Resource Management , Supply Chain Management , Marketing Management)
• Understanding Environment and Establishing Policy
(Financial Policy, Management Simulation, Marketing Policy, International Business and Corporate Taxation, Management Negotiation, Investment Ventures Management, The Global Corporation)
• Leading Organizational Renewal
(Organization and Change, Strategy Management and Planning Systems, Corporate Strategy, E-Business, Ethics, Geopolitics)

A team of professional coaches match and continuously tailor modern coaching techniques to the needs of each participant. Following participants individually and in teams they guide them in assessing and building on their own strengths, values and potential.

The ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA is based on a coherent concept that balances theory and practice, individual experience sharing and group experience, self-study and teamwork.
